What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Promote and sell Engineered Valve Industrial Products through various channels including distributors and OEMs
  • Maintain and execute an up-to-date territory plan to maximize product sales
  • Conduct product information seminars and assist sales personnel in securing orders
  • Monitor distributor and representative sales action plans towards achieving sales goals
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and market trend information to management
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical field is preferred
  • 3-5 years of outside technical sales experience in industrial markets or a related industry
  • Experience in channel management and sale of valves or capital equipment is preferred
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily and adapt as needed
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time

  • Experience in the sale of valves or related products
  • Strong understanding of industrial markets and channel management
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas and goals
  • Ability to train and develop others in sales techniques
  • Familiarity with administrative sales processes and reporting
