RoleAccount Executive – territory in Los Angeles. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle: building and managing a sales pipeline, market research, prospecting, fostering relationships (and creating new ones), contract negotiation, and closing deals. Sales at a startup is challenging but rewarding as you become a trusted advisor to our customers.
Responsibilities- Manage own book of business, build and manage an end-to-end sales pipeline and all supporting activities; prospect to close; meet or exceed quotas.
- Establish a presence in your territory; research the territory, develop a marketing and networking plan to reach the entrepreneurial community, and build relationships with the small business community.
- Proactively prospect for new business using market research, sales tools, and cold prospecting.
- Understand and communicate our value proposition to potential customers.
- Be the voice of future customers; suggest ideas to generate sales, cultivate leads, and advocate for product development.
- Be an ambassador of Justworks and its solutions; gain knowledge of the product suite.
- Travel within the Los Angeles territory (in-territory travel).
- Perform other duties as needed based on department and/or organizational needs.

- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Account Executive with 1 year managing a complete and consultative sales cycle and closing deals.
- Experience in lead generation for B2B in a high-velocity setting (SaaS, PEO, Fintech). Proficiency with Salesforce, Sales Loft, Linked In Sales Navigator, and/or Zoom Info required; experience with Outreach.io and/or Hub Spot, plus 6
Sense and/or Hoover’s/DB&N is a plus. - Cold-calling experience is required.

- Passionate about sales and relationship-focused customer engagements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to listen and gather information during calls and meetings.
- Ability to simplify complex topics for easy understanding.

- Travel within the territory (approximately 25%) for networking events, trade shows, and client meetings.
This position offers base pay plus incentive compensation. Base wage target is $90,000 in the Los Angeles office, with competitive on-target earnings of $170,000. Final offers may vary; incentive compensation is subject to plan terms.
