Position: Software Sales Account Manager - Territory will be East PA, DE, MD, DC, VA

Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new customers within assigned territory
  • Position and sell data governance, AI readiness, and database management solutions to address business challenges
  • Develop relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and other senior decision-makers
  • Manage complex sales cycles from initial prospecting to deal closure
  • Collaborate with channel partners to expand market reach and drive revenue growth
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of B2B software sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas
  • Experience selling solutions in data governance, AI readiness, or database management
  • Proven ability to sell to enterprise and mid-market accounts with C-level focus
  • Experience managing a multi-state territory with direct and channel sales strategies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of data, compliance, cloud, and AI trends
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS and hybrid software environment
  • Experience with consultative sales approaches
