What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Acquire and grow new public sector accounts with a hunter‑focused approach
  • Sell the Zoom One platform emphasizing Voice, PBX, and Contact Center solutions
  • Build trusted relationships with executives and IT leaders in government and education sectors
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive coverage plan for the Great Lakes region
  • Navigate complex procurement processes and manage long public sector sales cycles
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • 5+ years of successful Account Executive experience with consistent quota attainment
  • Experience selling into the Public Sector / SLED (State, Local, Education)
  • Strong background in UCaaS / SaaS / Cloud sales, particularly in Voice and Contact Center
  • Experience managing government procurement and contracting cycles
  • Residency in the Great Lakes region (Chicago, IL strongly preferred)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Familiarity with government contracting vehicles (e.g., NASPO, state or education consortiums)
  • Knowledge of competitive UCaaS/voice ecosystems (Cisco, Avaya, AWS, Microsoft, Amazon)
  • Success in multi‑product SaaS environments (UCaaS + CCaaS + collaboration tools)
  • Experience working with and through channel partners
