• Collaborate with various teams to support strategic and revenue goals as an overlay sales specialist
• Develop customized territory plans in coordination with District Sales Managers and Territory Account Managers
• Conduct technical seminars and present on Illumina Sequencing product lines and applications
• Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships as a trusted consultant
• Stay informed on market trends, competition, and new product innovations to leverage sales opportunities

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
• Customer‑facing sales or support experience in the Life Sciences or Genomics preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing and multiomic applications
• Excellent presentation skills, capable of delivering persuasive messages to diverse audiences
• Highly self‑motivated with strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ph.D. or Master’s in Biological Sciences, Genetics, Genomics, or related field is highly desired
• Experience in delivering workshops, seminars, and marketing activities
• Proven ability to quickly learn and independently maintain deep knowledge of sequencing applications
• Strong desire to win business and establish long‑term customer relationships
• Reliability and adaptability in a challenging and dynamic work environment
