Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong understanding of the employer’s technology and products, staying updated as the product portfolio evolves
  • Establish and execute strategies for acquiring new customers while maintaining and growing existing accounts
  • Make outbound contacts to identify sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers
  • Present versatile and unique solutions during customer negotiations to create mutually beneficial circumstances
  • Manage customer relationships post-sale to develop long-term business relationships
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Genetics and Molecular Biology to understand customer applications
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Life Science laboratory, sales role, or a related field
  • Experience with strategic sales skills and the ability to develop and grow key accounts
  • Effective and professional presentation skills to customers, peers, and management
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and collaborate within a team selling environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Next Generation Sequencing and Genotyping methods
  • A demonstrated strong desire to build customer relationships and a competitive spirit
  • Ability to manage time effectively and approach tasks with urgency
