Inner Parish Security Corporation, IPSC is recruiting unarmed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team in Coos Bay.

Pay Rate: $18-$19/hour, paid every week.

Unarmed Parking Lot Patrol

Mon, Tue, Wed: 11:00am-11:30pm

Thu: 11:00am-5:15pm

- Candidate must be at least 25 years of age, have a valid Driver's License, and a clean Driving Record.

Prior law enforcement, military and/or 1 year of security experience is a plus; however, training and uniform will be provided to the right candidate.

• Perform regular and random patrols of multiple premises.
• Report any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences.
• When necessary, perform control procedures.
• Operate emergency equipment.
• Document nightly operations and file weekly reports.
• Investigate breaches of property.

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Sound communication skills.
• Professional presentation.
• Ability to work as a team member and solo.
• Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week.
• Reliable transport.
• Active cellphone.
• 21 years of age.
• Clean criminal background.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, perform routine foot patrols.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
• Ability to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle in the course of duties if required.
• Ability to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions.
• Ability to walk, run, stand, climb, sit.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
• Good mental health and ability to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.
• Meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed.
