• Design and implement reliable workflows to automate operational tasks for managing core storage infrastructure
• Develop software to enhance the availability, scalability, and efficiency of products in languages like Go, C++, and Python
• Contribute to the design of a large-scale distributed vector store for search and machine learning applications
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate vector storage capabilities into broader infrastructure
• Mentor other engineers in designing and implementing vector storage services

• 7+ years of experience building internet-scale software, particularly in machine learning storage infrastructure
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Golang, Python, C++, or Java
• Experience with vector storage technologies like Milvus, Pinecone, Open Search, or Elastic Search
• Background in operating large-scale critical infrastructure systems with a focus on automation
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams

• Prior experience in a role requiring on-call responsibilities
• Familiarity with additional vector storage technologies beyond those listed
• Experience working in a service-oriented team environment
