• Build new services using Golang to meet critical product and business needs for the Card program
• Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to develop a tangible roadmap
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to fulfil customer needs
• Participate in team and company-wide offsites to enhance collaboration and alignment

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience with Card products and working on such a product at scale
• Proven ability to design, build, scale, and maintain production services
• Strong coding skills with a focus on writing high-quality, well-tested code
• Passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together

• Experience with rapid company growth from startup to mid-size
• Involvement in building growth experiments or A/B tests
• Familiarity with Blockchain technologies (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.)
• Experience decomposing large monolithic applications into microservices
• Knowledge of Golang, Postgres, and MongoDB
