• Salary range: $152,405 — $179,300 USD, plus target bonus and equity

• Build and run experiments to drive the growth of Coinbase’s retail products
• Design scalable systems to address unique challenges using modern cloud technology
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to develop a quarterly roadmap
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs
• Develop and implement growth tools, including referral and incentives programs

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in software engineering
• Proven experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services
• Ability to compose a service-oriented architecture
• Strong coding skills with a focus on writing high-quality, well-tested code
• Passion for building an open financial system that fosters global connectivity

• Experience launching new products from inception to market
• Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks
• Knowledge of Blockchain technology (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum)
• Proficiency in Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, Mongo
  
  DB, or DynamoDB
• Background in building fintech or highly secure systems
