- Improve systems to ensure performance guarantees in a shared‑everything multi‑tenant architecture
- Lead efforts to re‑architect internal message processing technology for petabyte‑per‑day scale
- Collaborate across teams to identify requirements and develop solutions for core ingest needs
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related discipline; M.S. is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with a proven track record of ownership and delivery
- Experience in developing scalable distributed data processing solutions
- Proficiency in multi‑threaded programming and large scalable distributed services following a microservice architecture
- Hands‑on object‑oriented programming experience (e.g., Java, Scala)
- Experience in big data and/or 24x7 commercial services
- Familiarity with Unix (Linux, OS X) environments
- Agile software development experience, including test‑driven and iterative development
