• Own and evolve the open-source and internal research codebases for generative AI
• Refactor and modularize large research‑driven code into maintainable libraries
• Integrate off‑the‑shelf models into existing pipelines as required
• Build model‑serving endpoints for interactive experimentation with models
• Design and maintain evaluation pipelines to measure model quality and improvements

• Expert‑level proficiency in Python and modular design principles
• Fluency with PyTorch and experience in modifying inference‑time model behavior
• Proven experience in refactoring large codebases and improving maintainability
• Strong knowledge of configuration systems, particularly Hydra, for reproducibility
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, with 10+ years of industry experience

• Proficiency in hierarchical config systems and environment scoping with Hydra
• Experience cleaning up generative model codebases and enhancing code observability
• Track record of improving engineering quality in a research context
• Mentorship experience in software engineering best practices
• Passion for creating elegant and maintainable ML tooling
