SOFTWARE DEVELOPER SENIOR
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs a Software Developer Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the USTRANSCOM customer. You will play a crucial role in modernizing and sustaining the Global Transportation Planning system.
Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
Assist with all phases of the software development lifecycle
Assist with analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs;
Assist with creating a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an applicationPerform software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging
Assist with the documentation of software or system for future maintenance and updates
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Developer Senior must have:
Education:
BS/BA in software development or related fieldCertification:
Comp TIA Sec+ - Required 6 months of hireExperience:
3+ years of related experience, preferably 4+ years of experience of Angular (additional years can be considered in lieu of degree)Technical skills:
History of developing applications and troubleshooting issues within the code;
Writing in Angular, Java along with development of scripts;
Compiling code using shell scriptsRequired Technical Expertise:
Angular, Linux, System/Software Design, Git Lab and JavaRequired
Skills and Abilities:

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
