• Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to define new features for distributed software storage systems
• Develop scalable, distributed storage management system solutions using Perl and Python
• Optimize workflow efficiency and scalability in collaboration with internal customers and team members
• Drive improvements in software design and testing processes to enhance production quality and velocity
• Contribute to the quality and time‑to‑market of next‑generation hardware products and technologies

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Linux software development, storage systems, and networked distributed systems
• Strong understanding of storage concepts such as volumes, snapshots, clones, and deduplication
• Proven ability to make architectural design decisions based on data and estimates balancing cost, performance, reliability, and scalability
• Experience collaborating with peers and customers to align on testing and adoption plans
• Proficiency in Perl and Python

• Background with Net App systems and ASIC workflow
• Exposure to Cursor AI
• Experience in infrastructure software, production application software development, and Dev Ops methodologies
• Management experience in datacenters and large‑scale distributed computing and storage systems
• Track record of driving process improvements and managing complex projects end‑to‑end
