• Lead the architecture and development of distributed, scalable, and fault‑tolerant systems for secure data movement across multi‑cloud and hybrid storage environments
• Design and implement high‑performance data transfer pipelines capable of managing large volumes of data
• Address challenges in system consistency, data integrity, and fault recovery to meet enterprise‑grade SLAs
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical requirements, project timelines, and deliverables
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and methodologies for distributed systems

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years focused on distributed systems for data migration or synchronization
• Strong understanding of various storage systems and protocols, including NFS, CIFS, S3, and cloud services
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C++
• Proven track record of building fault‑tolerant systems ensuring data durability and availability

• Experience with Atempo Miria, AWS Data Sync, or similar data management solutions
• Familiarity with data protection regulations and best practices for data security
• Prior experience in leading technical projects and mentoring engineering teams
