Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $18.00 USD per hour

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
  • Assist guests to solve their specific needs with a welcoming approach.
  • Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
  • Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
  • Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
  • Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.
  • Know the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed. Be familiar with all fulfillment services and how to direct guests to enroll, activate, and use them.
  • Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and other Target App features.
  • Handle returns following register prompts and escalate to leaders as needed to resolve guest concerns in line with Target policies and procedures.
  • De-escalate situations with leaders as needed to recover the guest shopping experience per Target policies.
  • Deliver easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and assist with gathering abandoned items, baskets, and hangers.
  • Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
  • Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive Up orders and returns, maintaining compliance with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage laws).
  • Support cash office processes as needed, including management of cash systems.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.

Basic Requirements & Availability
  • Accurately handle cash register operations and support cash office as needed.
  • Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally with assistance.
  • Flexibility to pick up shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) to meet store needs.
  • Active engagement by picking up shifts and responding to contact attempts; must work at least one shift within 5 months or be administratively terminated.
  • Capable of working in varying temperatures and conditions (Drive Up, carryout, etc.).
  • Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
