The Accounts Payables and General Ledger Accountant is responsible for encoding all invoices and expense reports into the G/L, processing and issuing all AP checks, recording and reconciling daily cash activities and GL entries, and working on special projects to support the Controller and CFO. Exceptional service to internal customers and external vendors is required.

• Encode appropriate G/L account distribution and enter invoices and expense reports into the accounts payable system.
• Audit expense and GL reports to ensure proper documentation and company guidelines are followed.
• Maintain accounts payable files.
• Produce daily cash reports.
• Maintain the bank’s outstanding checks.
• Answer inquiries from vendors and departments.
• Record general entries.
• Reconcile GL accounts.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Reconcile sales tax amounts.

• Accounting degree required.
• Four years’ experience in Accounts Payable and General Ledger.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and database systems, excellent working knowledge of Excel.
• Customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with team-oriented interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
