Superior Group of Companies (SGC) – CID Resources division – is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Senior Inventory Planner to join our S&OP team. This is a critical role responsible for driving inventory strategy, buy planning, and cross-functional alignment across our fast-growing apparel brands, including Wink® and Carhartt®.

What You’ll Do- Own the CID inventory planning process and lead the monthly Buy Review—including SKU-level analysis, buy recommendations, and open-to-buy management.
- Consolidate and analyze large data sets (sales trends, open orders, forecasts, inventory positions) to identify opportunities, risks, and root causes.
- Maintain, enhance, and create reporting tools in Excel to support weekly and monthly inventory visibility.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sourcing, Sales, Merchandising, Demand Planning, and Raw Materials on inventory alignment, new product launches, and lifecycle transitions.
- Support product lifecycle management, including slow mover identification, transitions, and timing alignment with Merchandising.
- Provide inventory insights to support major B2B program sales and ensure high service levels are maintained.
- Serve as the primary inventory point of contact for Sales, navigating high-volume communications and providing data-driven answers quickly and accurately.
- Drive continuous improvement in inventory planning processes as the team scales and evolves.
- 5–7 years of experience in inventory planning, demand planning, or supply planning.
- Experience in apparel, footwear, uniforms, wholesale, or manufacturing strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills (heavy manipulation, large data sets, roll-ups, formulas, and report building).
- Strong working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate data independently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high email volume and frequent urgent requests.
- Background in wholesale manufacturing or large SKU-count environments (CID manages ~31,000 SKUs).
- Experience supporting major program-driven sales cycles.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management in an apparel environment.
- Power BI or data visualization experience (nice to have).
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and confident with complex datasets.
- Proactive and communicative — someone who reaches out, follows up, and stays ahead of issues.
- Comfortable navigating cross-functional conversations and influencing partners with data.
- Organized, reliable, and energized by a fast-paced environment.

- Hours: 8:00/8:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM
- Location: Coppell, TX (local candidates required)
