The BIM Modeler III is responsible for providing modeling efforts for project delivery and standards. This role leads the production team, creating most of the drawings for a project and typically functions as a Model Manager. The Modeler will supervise modeling and documenting the project efficiently.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Associate degree in Computerized Drafting or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with electrical symbols and drafting standards.
- Combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Ability to interpret verbal and written directions into design documents.
- Understanding of REI BIM processes and workflows.
- Skills in creating parametric families, schedules, and complex geometry.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and Design Review.
- Ability to read 2D plans and work in 2D and 3D spaces.
- Experience with document import/export and project collaboration.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle (preferred).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Up to 20% travel required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:Primarily indoor work with varying environmental conditions, occasional lifting up to 30 lbs, and typical office noise levels. Reasonable accommodations are provided as per ADA and law.
