We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to ensure efficient production of products. The position is crucial in conceptualizing and implementing new tools, fixtures, and methods while ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to support efficient production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain.
  • Conceptualize and implement new tools, fixtures, and methods.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes for energy use, material waste, and environmental impact.
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives through design-for-manufacturability and process optimization.
  • Source, test, and qualify production equipment.
  • Analyze process data and metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and tools and resolve design/production issues with suppliers.
  • Act as a technical liaison between engineering, operations, quality, sales, and supply chain.
  • Create operational and manufacturing engineering presentations and reports.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support the technical development of the team.
  • Coach and train production operators and associated production staff.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical, industrial, or similar engineering field.
  • Strong knowledge of value stream mapping, 5S, root cause analysis, and DMAIC problem-solving.
  • Proficient in designing jigs, fixtures, and tooling using CAD software such as Solid Works or Creo.
  • Ability to create, validate, and refine manufacturing processes including routings and process flow diagrams.
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and design of experiments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled with computers and Microsoft Office products including Teams.
  • Experience with digital CMMS.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to assess and document risks in new or existing processes.
  • Regularly sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Physically able to lift 75 pounds and manipulate up to a 500-pound drum regularly.
Work Environment

This role involves frequent exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, airborne particles, electrical components, chemicals, and moving parts. Prolonged use of computer screens is required. The work environment is dynamic and requires flexibility and adaptability to changing conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Coppell, TX.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85,000.00 - $/yr.
