Position Title
Business Unit Controller - Rochester Sensors
LocationCoppell, Texas
WageDepends on experience
Functional ScopeDirect financial and accounting for Rochester Sensors. Support/assist international accounting functions, timely/accurate financial reporting, productivity improvements, maintain sound controllership and compliance practices, provide business analytics and direction as a key business leader.
Position Specifications- BS in Accounting or Finance or 5-7 years relevant experience.
- Lead in a decentralized global environment, work under pressure with high degree of accuracy and with frequent interruptions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong diplomacy, and critical thinking skills.
- MBA preferred.
- Develop/administer operating procedures for payroll, AP, AR, cost accounting, credit, collections, billing.
- Maintain internal accounting control system ensuring integrity of financial data.
- Prepare/submit corporate financial documents/reports required by local, state, and federal governments.
- Provide consultation for financial analysis of programs/proposals.
- Manage decentralized global finance team and drive team to meet deadlines.
- Translate business strategy/operational results and recommend changes to improve results.
- Acquisition assessment/integration.
- Provide business analytics and reporting to cross‑functional team.
- Establish/administer annual operating budget.
- Lead monthly financial close/forecasting, capital improvements, budget creation, strategy planning.
- Participate in operations goal achievement, assess progress and advise.
- Identify and drive business performance: revenue growth, operating income, ROS.
- Implement programs to achieve cash flow objectives.
- Follow company practices, policies, and procedures.
- Partner with the GM.
- Domestic and international travel.
- Participate in training/success of others.
