* Job Description:
** A System Support Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of software systems and providing technical assistance to both internal teams and external customers. They diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to system maintenance and enhancements. In addition to system engineering responsibilities, they will aid and assist in cybersecurity mitigation and support for the company.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Microsoft Cloud Administration: + Microsoft 365 tenant management (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint). + Manage Microsoft 365 tenant for end-user accounts, MFA, SSO, and dynamic groups + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft cloud application setup and management, cloud security platform, conditional access, and Entra Identity + Configure and maintain identity and access management policies
* Automation & Scripting: + Develop and maintain scripts (Power Shell, Bash, Python, etc.) to automate repetitive tasks and streamline IT operations + Implement automation for software deployment, system monitoring, and reporting + Collaborate with infrastructure teams to integrate automation into enterprise workflows + Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and automation scripts for knowledge sharing
* Level 3 Support and Configuration Maintenance: + Deliver Tier 3 support for Windows and macOS environments, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals, to remote and office team members + Independently managing production issues escalated through the ticketing system or by request + Assisting with upgrades and maintenance of the service platform, associated software, hardware, and databases + Maintain and optimize enterprise applications, collaboration tools, and endpoint security solutions + Partner with the cybersecurity team, networking, and application teams to ensure secure and efficient system operations + Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders + Collaborating with design teams to perform in-depth root cause analysis, especially when dealing with component-related issues + Documenting decisions and adhering to established standards + Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and the service desk for cross-functional training
* Production Fixes and Enhancements: + Designing, developing, and implementing production fixes and enhancements. + Participating in an on-call rotation team to address issues 24/7 + Executing regular changes on the application infrastructure to maintain supportability and system availability
* Executive Support: + Provide white-glove technical assistance to C-level executives and senior leadership, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless user experience. + Manage and troubleshoot complex issues related to conferencing tools, mobile devices, and secure remote access
* Production Fixes and Enhancements: + Designing, developing, and implementing production fixes and enhancements. + Participating in an on-call rotation team to address issues 24x7. + Executing regular changes on the application infrastructure to maintain supportability and system availability
* Infrastructure Protection: + Ensure that our data and infrastructure are shielded by enabling appropriate security controls + Perform daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with relevant departments + Adhere to Identity standards for system and access requests + Comfortably work with a variety of security tools and troubleshooting-related challenges
* Incident Response and Troubleshooting: + Respond promptly to security incidents and breaches + Investigate and analyze security alerts + Troubleshoot security issues
