Production Support Engineer

This role involves providing production support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and developing advanced solutions across multiple domains. The engineer will work on onboarding and transitioning from an incumbent vendor, implement automation opportunities, and provide best practices for support processes.

• At least 7 years of strong hands‑on experience in Java / MS development
• Prior experience of working as onsite lead for application development and support
• Experience with REST/SOAP API development
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Cloud services (S3 bucket, EKS Cluster, Event Bridge, SQS, IAM roles, Serverless architecture, etc.)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic
• Experience providing production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Cloud Formation templates
• Strong experience in SQL scripting
• Experience working in Onsite / Offshore model
• Experience in Python
• Design, build, and manage pipelines for software builds and deployments

• Design, develop, and implement advanced solutions to solve complex business problems across various domains
• Provide production support services
• Identify automation opportunities and implement them
• Provide best practice guidelines for support processes
• Take transition from incumbent vendor
• Document technical architecture and integration
• Coordinate system restoration calls and collaborate with different teams
• Plan different maintenance activities (adaptive, perfective, corrective, preventive)
