Pay Rate: $65–$70/hour on W2 (depending on experience)

Russell Tobin is supporting a Product Manager opportunity with a large enterprise retail organization. This role requires a senior‑level professional with a strong background in data governance and data management, combined with the ability to partner closely with technical teams and executive stakeholders.

The Product Manager will be responsible for driving data governance initiatives focused on customer, marketing, and loyalty data. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in data stewardship, data quality, and metadata management, along with a technical foundation that enables effective collaboration with engineering and analytics teams.

• Lead and support data governance and data stewardship initiatives across retail data domains
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define and manage data quality, metadata, and catalog strategies
• Oversee the use and adoption of data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, or similar platforms
• Ensure alignment of product hierarchy structures across store and eCommerce environments
• Analyze complex datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Present findings, strategies, and product roadmaps to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering teams, leveraging technical knowledge including Python, to support data initiatives

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in data governance, data stewardship, or related roles, preferably within the retail industry
• Strong understanding of Customer, Marketing, and Loyalty data, including associated processes, systems, and data flows
• Hands‑on experience with data quality management, data cataloging, and metadata management tools
• Knowledge of product hierarchy structures within both physical retail and eCommerce environments
• Technical background with working knowledge of Python
• Demonstrated executive presence and experience presenting to C‑suite stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and make informed recommendations
