The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the overall quality of the products developed within the Xstore POS environment, together with other team members. Agile is key to our journey and you will play a big role in building and developing the agile organization. You will work together with our POS QA team in driving test strategies towards major initiatives and continuous product development.

You will be responsible for implementing standards in automated and manual testing solutions. You will look to constantly be on the hunt for ways to improve things. You will also be hands‑on with our scrum teams’ day‑to‑day work, interacting with developers, product managers, and various other teams daily to deliver on sprint goals. You are a person that thrives on applying your practical and technical skills to help build solid solutions to meet quality goals.

You have a knowledge of how Point‑Of‑Sale operates as well as how code gets built, tested, and deployed. You know how to make the Customer Experience great.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the testing of various POS tickets to be able to meet the needs of Xstore specifically, but also teams outside of Xstore and Store Operations. These tickets include regular enhancements, specific project and those pertaining to issues in the field.
  • Responsible for the updating of any tickets assigned to them, provide verbal updates via daily stand‑up meetings or project calls, and the full documentation of those tickets so that it is easily understood what was testing and the result.
  • Document findings, prepare reports and make recommendations.
  • Develop new processes and procedures to enhance operations.
  • Work with managers and employees to implement changes.
  • Determine the effectiveness of new processes.
  • Collecting and organizing information from various sources like computer data and sales histories.
  • Identifying and solving problems in various fields or specialized areas.
  • Examine the data to figure out what is important to the problem and which methods are best to analyze it.
  • Use statistical methods to analyze information and develop solutions to business problems.
Qualifications/Experience
  • Knowledge of the Xstore Point‑Of‑Sale (POS) system.
  • Skills in testing complex projects, troubleshooting and documenting.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with various teams on issues and resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience using statistical and database software.
  • Experience in Agile.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with testing automation.
  • Testing Metrics.
  • Automation or Artificial intelligence (AI) is preferred.
  • A degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience collecting and organizing information from various sources like computer data and sales histories.
  • Great attitude and initiative is a must.
