OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Tier 1 Helpdesk Support Specialist to provide first‑level technical assistance to end users. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of Windows environments, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening, empathizing, and resolving issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Support Windows operating systems, including user account management and basic configuration tasks.
- Assist users with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), including installation and usage guidance.
- Document all interactions and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system accurately and timely.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support when necessary, ensuring proper handoff and communication.
- Maintain knowledge base articles and contribute to process improvements.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve common technical issues.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
This is a Contract position based out of Coppell, TX.
Pay And Benefits- Pay range: $16.25 – $18.00/hr.
