Actuarial Predictive Modeler
We are seeking technical actuaries and/or data scientists with insurance operation experience to help build out our newly established insurance predictive modeling team. This team will be responsible for building predictive models to provide insight and direction for our insurance operations.
What You’ll Do:
Develop predictive models for use in Actuarial and other insurance applications.
Collaborate primarily with Actuarial, as well as Product Management, Underwriting, Claims, and Sales, to develop relevant models that address real challenges.
Partner with Information Technology and Data & Analytics groups to access necessary data for your models.
Maintain and update your skills to adapt to evolving technology and tools.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, actuarial science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
At least 4 years of predictive modeling experience, preferably in insurance applications.
Actuarial experience and progress toward actuarial credentials are preferred but not required.
Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or similar tools.
