Position: Insurance Sales Agent (Pulte Insurance Agency)

This position is hybrid, requiring 1 day per week in office in Coppell, TX. Initially it will be 100% in office Monday - Friday while training and onboarding.

Job Summary

This role focuses on managing non renewals, proactively remarketing policies experiencing significant premium increases, and driving cross-sell opportunities, particularly for auto insurance. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service while ensuring client retention and growth.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and remarket nonrenewed policies to secure alternative coverage options for clients.
  • Proactively monitor upcoming renewals and identify policies with high premium increases.
  • Contact customers to discuss increases and present competitive options to retain business.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell auto insurance to new and existing policyholders.
  • Educate clients on bundled insurance benefits to enhance coverage and maximize savings.
  • Document all activity in online client file to ensure quality and responsiveness.
  • Maintain a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with clients or insurance company partners to create a positive experience.
  • Open, cancel, and update customer policy information based on requests received.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to all customers.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint and recommending the best solution to solve the problem.
  • Provide suggestions about other products and services based on client needs.
  • Required Education/Experience

  • None required; 2 years in a client contact center preferred.
  • Required Licensing, Registration and/or Certifications

  • Property and Casualty Insurance license required.
  • Required Skills/Knowledge

  • The ability to learn insurance products and grow in product knowledge.
  • The ability to apply knowledge and experience to explain products and/or policy to members in clear and relatable terms.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads while adhering to deadlines.
  • The ability to interact and communicate effectively in a team environment to share knowledge and manage workflows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience using an Agency Management System preferred.
