General Purpose of the Job: The Production Assembler performs tasks including plastering, producing architectural shapes, EIFS wall components, and exterior panel systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain extrusion machinery independently; collaborate with team to run parts through equipment.

Perform journeyman-level plastering, including troweling, base coating, finishes, and final sanding/touch-ups.

Hand-apply and cut adhesive mesh and Fedderlite channels to specifications; trim parts with cutting equipment.

Mix materials using electric drills and paddles; assemble and pour molds for cast stone.

Utilize to track production progress, shipments, and inventory.

Follow the production schedule set by the Production Supervisor and complete all required forms.

Lead project work, interpret complex work orders, and mentor less experienced team members.

Conduct quality control checks and identify issues in production processes, providing data for improvement initiatives.

Prepare and organize parts for shipment; assist with shipping, receiving, and custom crate building.

Follow all safety protocols and proactively address safety concerns.

Cleans tools and equipment post-use and helps maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Participate in monthly inventory counts and use power tools and other equipment safely and effectively.

Education Requirement: No formal educational requirement.

Experience Requirement: 2+ years of experience, with experience in plastering.

Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Benefits and Compensation: Hourly rate generally ranges between $22.66 and $27.99, based on qualifications and other considerations. Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays and time off, 401(k), pension plan, performance bonus, and continuing education.
