As the Business Development Manager – Special Events at Dave & Busters, you’ll be the mastermind behind driving revenue and creating unforgettable experiences. You will be at the forefront of driving significant revenue through outbound sales efforts in key industry segments, including SMERF, Tour & Travel, and Multi‑Location Events.

Responsibilities- Own and drive events sales revenue growth in existing and new markets for Corporate, SMERF, Tour & Travel, and Multi‑Location markets.
- Leverage data, industry trends, and market research to identify opportunities for growth.
- Own the business development process for special events, focusing on corporate events, group outings, and social gatherings, building new revenue streams.
- Build relationships and secure business opportunities in partnership with the local Sales Manager before new store openings.
- Seek and develop partnerships with national, local businesses, community groups, and organizations to bring fresh event opportunities.
- Work closely with our SE team to bring unique ideas and themes to life, maximizing revenue.
- Stay ahead of market trends and opportunities, ensuring Dave & Busters remains the go‑to place for unforgettable events.
- Mine existing corporate business to identify larger, multi‑national opportunities.

- Proven experience in business development and event sales with at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, including lead generation, client acquisition, and closing strategies.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding business goals.
- Ability to work independently and think creatively about revenue generation.
- Excellent communication and relationship skills.
- Above‑average computer skills, Microsoft Office, and email communication.
- High personal standards of conduct and professionalism.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and Zoom Info is a plus.
