Overview
We’re seeking a highly motivated hunter to join our growing sales team as a Business Development Manager. This is a fast-paced, outbound-focused role in the reverse logistics space, targeting small-to-midsize OEMs and related verticals to generate net new revenue.
Role Responsibilities:
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitors and industry developments to identify emerging growth opportunities
- Identify and qualify leads through cold outreach, email campaigns, Linked In, and events
- Use Salesforce and sales enablement tools to track activity and manage pipeline
- Build and nurture a targeted list of a few hundred small OEM prospects in verticals like consumer electronics, retail, and mobile
- Develop a deep understanding of Premier’s capabilities (repair, refurbishment, LTV management)
- Articulate solutions aligned with specific customer pain points (e.g., “Who handles your returns?”)
- Own the full sales cycle - from lead gen to close—for net-new accounts
- Attend relevant trade shows and networking events to expand prospect pool
- Meet or exceed revenue quotas through consistent outbound engagement
Skills and Specifications
Required:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales with proven success in outbound lead generation
- Experience selling services in reverse logistics, electronics, or aftermarket industries
- Skilled at cold email/call prospecting and creative outreach
- Proficient in Salesforce and other sales enablement tools
- Clear communicator with strong presentation, listening, and persuasion skills
- Prior success in targeting OEMs, carriers, or repair/refurb partners
- Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment with no named territory
- Ideally based near Dallas but can be remote. Willing to travel as needed for meetings, site visits, and trade events
Location and Travel
Based near Dallas preferred; remote acceptable with travel for meetings and events as needed.
