Guidewire Developer

Overview

Guidewire Developer in Coppell, TX. You will help solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Must live within 100 miles of Coppell for collaboration meetings twice a month.

• Experience building Guidewire Insurance Suite applications (Policy Center, Billing Center, and/or Claims Center)
• Strong understanding of GOSU (or Object-Oriented Programming)
• Ability to assess, architect, and design new integrations between applications
• Proven experience in Agile development, version control, and release tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts in plain language
• Experience with Policy Center and Billing Center version upgrades, automated testing (GUnit, Selenium, etc.) and Guidewire Certifications (preferred)
• Must live within 100 miles of Coppell, TX (for twice-monthly collaboration meetings)

• Design, code, test, debug, and document systems and integrations
• Collaborate with management, technology teams, and stakeholders to deliver effective business solutions
• Act as an internal mentor and consultant on technical matters
• Contribute as a key technical expert on emerging technologies and innovative solutions
• Develop cost-effective, scalable applications that meet customer and business needs
• Proved technical mentorship on Insurance projects
