Sr Front-End Web Developer

Job Description

The Sr. Front End Developer will be responsible for the design and development of front‑end features in current and future products and content updates via CMS. They will work with marketing and I.T. to implement a consistent content style guide and processes, design & build customer‑facing A/B tests and small applications that make teams more efficient. Strong development experience with multiple programming languages and an enjoyment of learning new technologies is a must.

• Deep proficiency in front‑end web development and comprehensive knowledge of technologies like JavaScript, CSS and JQuery.
• Create well‑designed and efficient HTML/CSS/JS, determine technical requirements, and solve code problems.
• Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups/wireframes into usable web pages with regards to SEO, usability and accessibility best practices.
• Work within existing code and CMS platform to build out pages and make edits to existing pages with supplied content.
• Ensure high‑quality UI/UX standards and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with the UX and Analytics team on A/B test setup and goals.
• Partner with Marketing and leadership to manage multiple bodies of work and align against business goals and audience.
• Optimize applications for responsiveness, cross‑browser compatibility and performance.
• Recommend modifications to processes and procedures, and contribute to best practices.
• Document, test and provide ongoing support of customer‑facing content and functionality.
• Collaborate with strategy team and back‑end developers.
• Build small, internal applications that are testable, maintainable, extensible and highly efficient.
• Design and implement customer‑facing features and functionality.
• Promote and solicit ideas within project teams; may lead certain elements of projects.
• Maintain expertise in existing tools as well as new tools and technologies being developed.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience coding in HTML, CSS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software engineering processes, tools, methods and support.
• Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting cross‑browser and cross‑platform issues.
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar e‑commerce platforms.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to clearly articulate and implement a focused plan.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence and drive decision‑making processes.
• Self‑starter with strong attention to detail who can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
