This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift or other powered material handling equipment (MHE) to move, stack, or pick/pull merchandise. The role includes all phases of warehousing including shipping, receiving, inventorying, product repackaging, palletizing, and forklift operation.

• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards, including daily inspection and maintenance.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered MHE equipped with lifting devices (forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam, swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, trailer hitch, or motorized pallet rider).
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring accuracy for loading.
• Efficiently move product from staging or storage areas into trailers or containers.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Perform pick and pack, light assembly, labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to ensure proper inventory control and security measures are followed and maintained.
• May assist in physical inventories.

• Minimum 6 months verifiable work experience in the prior 36 months operating material‑handling equipment such as sit‑down/stand‑up forklift, reach truck, cherry/order picker, etc.

Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to reach, handle, or feel; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. Must regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and be able to carry and climb a ladder. Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8‑hour day).

Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently. Use of hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements is required.

Work in a warehouse environment, subject to vibration, varying seasonal temperatures, and outside weather conditions. Working above ground level and exposure to falling objects. Loud noises typical. Work spaces may be improperly illuminated, awkward, or confining.
