Construction Project Accountant Position

Become a Project Accountant for Ventana Special Projects, where you will manage full cycle accounting in a vibrant construction setting. This role centers around effective cost tracking, contract management, and comprehensive financial reporting.

As part of the organization, you will work closely with Project Managers to oversee project budgets and preparation of financial documents. This position is pivotal to ensuring the financial health of projects through diligent management of expenses and revenues. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial tracking throughout project life

• Prepare progress billings and client invoices monthly

• Administer A/R, A/P, GL, and cost accounting

• Generate financial reports including budgets and cashflows

• Perform account reconciliations and address discrepancies

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent

• Minimum 3-4 years of construction accounting experience

• CPA or financial certification is a plus

• Proficient in MS Office and construction accounting software

• Good grasp of standard accounting procedures
