Accounts Payable Clerk

Leavitt Machinery is looking for an organized and team-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Coquitlam, British Columbia and Langley, BC. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner and processing payment requests from multiple business units.

As the Accounts Payable Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

• Enter and code a high volume of invoices into the ERP system
• Follow up with vendors and internal departments on any invoice issues
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices
• Reconcile statements and purchase orders
• Match cheques and electronic payments
• Complete vendor credit applications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• At least one year of related accounts payable experience
• Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or accounting
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent organizational skills and planning skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
• Self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently

The base pay range for this role is: $45,000 to $52,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Coquitlam, British Columbia and Langley, BC.
