Service Advisor

Overview   Fountain Tire Coquitlam,  an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a high-energy, customer focused  Inside Sales Representative /   Service Advisor  to bridge the gap between our customers and our shop technicians. In this role, you will be the face of our business. You will greet customers, diagnose their basic automotive or tire needs, translate technical issues into clear explanations, and sell the necessary repair solutions

Primary Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly, schedule service appointments, and provide accurate timelines for vehicle repairs.
Listen to customer concerns, look up vehicle service histories, and recommend necessary maintenance or mechanical repairs.
Guide customers through choosing the right tires based on vehicle specifications, driving habits, and budget.
Translate complex mechanical jargon from the technicians into simple, easy-to-understand explanations for the customer.
Create accurate cost estimates for parts and labor, obtain customer approval before work begins, and process final invoices.
Coordinate with shop and technicians to maximize daily bay productivity and ensure parts arrive on time.
What does it take to get on track?
2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, Parts Counter Consultant, or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive repair or tire industry. Experience in a tire-specific or mechanical shop is highly preferred.
Strong basic understanding of automotive mechanics, preventative maintenance, and tire sizing/brands
Proficiency with automotive shop management software
Strong verbal and written communication with a proven track record of building customer trust.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver's Abstract
