Lead business process improvement for the City of Coquitlam, combining business analysis and project management in a flexible, hybrid municipal setting.
As a senior member of the Business and Innovation Division, you will guide complex initiatives across Planning and Development. The position strengthens performance measurement, operational analytics, forecasting, and evidence-based decision-making. You will supervise Business Improvement Team staff while coordinating with departments, ICT, and corporate partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead cross-divisional process reviews and improvement initiatives
- Conduct operational reviews, needs assessments, and options analysis
- Develop work plans, timelines, deliverables, and business cases
- Supervise staff, assign work, coach employees, and review performance
- Strengthen performance measures, data definitions, and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Five years of progressively responsible business analysis experience
- Two years of direct staff supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools
- Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver’s Licence
