Join Amrize Construction as an experienced Roller Operator in the Greater Vancouver Area, focusing on asphalt rolling practices to ensure superior road quality and safety.
This position requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years in road construction. As a Roller Operator, you'll use your expertise to maintain smooth asphalt surfaces and work collaboratively with a committed team.
Your role includes performing additional site tasks and promoting a safety-first culture throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize roller machines for effective asphalt compression
• Establish rolling patterns for optimal densification
• Assist in plate and hand tamping operations
• Ensure daily maintenance of equipment is performed
• Monitor work areas and rectify potential hazards
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• 3-5 years' hands-on experience in road work
• Good balance and manual dexterity
• Must be available for nights and weekends
• Strict adherence to PPE and safety protocols
