Support bidding efforts as a Mechanical Estimating Coordinator with a leading contractor in the Lower Mainland. Focus on document control, mechanical takeoffs, and spreadsheet management for commercial projects.
This role is designed for a detail-oriented individual excited to contribute to estimating processes within a growing company. Experience in estimating or project coordination within the construction industry is essential. You will be responsible for precise tracking and organization, ensuring deadlines are honored and clarity is maintained throughout the estimation phase.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quantity takeoffs from plumbing and HVAC drawings
• Populate and maintain vendor pricing in spreadsheets
• Organize electronic tender folders and project documentation
• Support tender package preparation and submission
• Ensure all documentation is accurately updated and filed
Requirements:
• 1-2+ years in a related Estimating Coordination role
• Skilled in document control and project details
• Familiarity with BC construction specifications
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PDF markup
• Effective communication within a team environment
