Construction Safety Officer at Onni

Join Onni as a Construction Safety Officer, responsible for enhancing safety protocols on high-rise sites in Coquitlam, Richmond, or Pitt Meadows. We seek candidates for both day and night shifts.

In this role, you will assist the Superintendent with labor tasks while ensuring compliance with safety measures. Ideal candidates are those who can lead health and safety initiatives with a keen attention to detail. Your commitment to safety is crucial in protecting our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and close job sites to maintain safety

• Perform general construction maintenance tasks

• Execute weekly and monthly safety reporting

• Assist with incident reporting and follow-ups

• Conduct safety orientations for site visitors

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction

• OFA2 or OFA3 Certification required

• Willingness to obtain Fall Protection Certification

• Strong organizational capabilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
