Construction Labourer – Casual

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Construction Labourer to join our team on a casual basis. This role is available at construction sites across the Lower Mainland including Downtown Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, and Pitt Meadows. Mornings, afternoons and weekend shifts are welcome. Your responsibilities include performing physical tasks, keeping the job site clean and organized, and following safety regulations.

• Assist with lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, clearing obstacles, and setting up necessary equipment.
• Operate basic hand tools, power tools and construction machinery under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of the job site by sweeping and disposing of waste materials properly.
• Follow all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Work closely with the construction team, following instructions and assisting as needed to meet project timelines.
• Report any safety concerns, incidents or issues promptly to the supervisor or project manager.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects regularly.
• Basic understanding of construction processes, tools and materials preferred but not mandatory.
• Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and a proactive approach to identifying hazards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
• Team player who follows instructions from supervisors or project managers.
• Good verbal communication skills to convey information and report issues.
