The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years in a safety role specific to construction environments, with qualifications including Advanced First Aid and a CSO designation. This position emphasizes proactive risk management, requiring you to train workers and conduct safety inspections while fostering a culture of safety on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enhance site safety by tracking and documenting issues
• Utilize Hammertech for risk management documentation
• Provide emergency response and First Aid resources
• Conduct safety training sessions for subcontractors
• Perform detailed safety inspections and hazard assessments
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years in a safety officer role
• Advanced First Aid (OFA Level
3) certification required
• Experience with in residential construction preferred
• CSO designation or relevant accreditation necessary
• Additional training in safety protocols is advantageous
