Description
The Customer Service Representative will assist customers by teaching them about our products and services, answering questions, taking and entering orders, and maintaining multiple software applications including online order guides and basic troubleshooting. The role will collaborate with Bunzl’s internal teams—sales, service, procurement, warehouse, shipping, and management—to ensure customer needs are met. This position is 100% office‑based due to its collaborative nature with sales and warehouse personnel.
Compensation: $45,000–$47,000 per annum
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Responsibilities
Provide high‑level customer service, meeting or exceeding client needs.
Enter orders accurately, checking for item accuracy and pricing variations.
Support customers on our online ordering eCommerce system.
Process full‑cycle sales orders: order entry, credit approval, invoicing, and filing.
Complete administrative tasks, follow up with purchasing, manage back‑orders or special orders.
Respond efficiently and promptly to inquiries and product requests.
Provide customers with simple quotes.
Maintain current knowledge of all product promotions.
Handle customer service contacts via telephone, email, fax, or regular mail.
Provide cross‑division support to deliver exceptional customer service.
Work independently with minimal supervision while being proficient in a team environment.
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of customer service experience.
Proficient in handling escalated customer service situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong crisis management, problem‑solving, administrative and organizational skills.
Consultative selling skills.
Fast learner with initiative and a positive work attitude.
Ability to handle high‑volume calls in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows‑based software.
