The Chemistry Department at Douglas College seeks a knowledgeable instructor to deliver first- and second-year university transfer courses. Your responsibilities will include instructing and evaluating students while providing academic guidance. Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and evaluate College Chemistry students
• Facilitate hands-on laboratory education
• Organize and manage relevant learning resources
• Provide quality academic advice to learners
• Maintain a learner-centered instructional approach
Requirements:
• Earned master's degree in Chemistry (Ph.D. preferred)
• Experience teaching at the post-secondary level
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed
• Familiarity with second-year chemistry coursework is preferred
