At YMCA BC, substitute educators are needed to fill casual, on-call positions across various childcare centers. Successful candidates will be certified ECE professionals equipped to implement the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum. You’ll cultivate strong relationships with children and families while ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement engaging, high-quality programs for children

• Build strong relationships with families and staff

• Support smooth transitions between learning areas

• Follow cleanliness and safety protocols diligently

• Use Weemarkable to communicate with parents

Requirements:

• Valid ECE certification recognized in British Columbia

• Preferred Infant Toddler Educator or Special Needs Educator license

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Emergency First Aid and CPR-C & AED required

• Satisfactory Criminal Record check necessary
