Surrey Christian School has over 1,100 students in early learning, elementary, and secondary programs, as well as an out-of-school program. We are located in Surrey, a diverse community just outside Vancouver. The Out-of-School Care Assistant at Surrey Christian School plays an integral role in supporting the out-of-school care program. Committed to providing quality care and fostering holistic growth, the assistant collaborates with staff, parents, and community members to create a loving and supportive atmosphere where children feel valued and empowered.

The position is a split shift (before and after school) from September to June, and 8 hours a day for six consecutive weeks during the summer to run our Summer Care Program. We are also open to accepting applications from those also interested in a part-time role for September to June only.

We offer comprehensive benefits, including extended health benefits, insurance, and professional development opportunities. The wage rate is based on experience and qualifications, with a range of $24 to $29 per hour, plus holiday pay and wage enhancements (if applicable). The posted wage is for the 2025/26 school year and is under review; it will be updated for the 2026/27 school year.
