Join School District No.43 as a full-time School Psychologist focused on diverse student needs in Coquitlam, BC. This role emphasizes assessment, collaboration, and specialized support for various learners.
The Coquitlam School District is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a continuing 1.0 FTE position. This role requires a Master's degree in school psychology and CHCPBC certification. You will be instrumental in assessing educational problems and collaborating with school professionals to ensure effective student support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with school-based teams and support staff
• Assess and support students with exceptionalities and ELL needs
• Provide detailed educational assessment services
• Offer consultation on educational placements and programming
• Assist in developing and evaluating individual education plans
Requirements:
• Master's degree in School Psychology or equivalent
• CHCPBC certification or eligibility required
• Training in assessment and diagnosis of educational issues
• Ability to design intervention plans tailored to student needs
• Experience in collaborative educational settings
