As the Temporary School Psychologist, you will be an essential part of the Coquitlam School District, serving a vibrant community of 32,000 students across multiple schools. Applicants need a master's degree in educational psychology alongside CHCPBC certification. You’ll collaborate with other educational professionals to assess and support students experiencing a variety of learning challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with school professionals and learning support teams
• Provide assessments for students with various exceptionalities
• Deliver educational assessment services
• Offer guidance on programming and placements
• Contribute to the development of individualized plans
Requirements:
• Master's degree in School or Educational Psychology
• Certification from CHCPBC or eligibility
• Training in psycho-educational assessments
• Experience working with diverse learners
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff
