Elevate student experiences as a Practice Placement Coordinator at Douglas College's Coquitlam Campus. This role is focused on student placements and stakeholder engagement, driving educational success.
As part of the faculty, you'll assess placement needs, enhance education strategies, and foster collaborative relationships with program coordinators. Your expertise in evaluating trends will be vital in identifying new opportunities and ensuring effective communication between Health Sciences programs and placement agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess educational placement needs using HSP Net
• Collaborate on training initiatives for faculty and placements
• Develop evaluative procedures for education outcomes
• Manage relationships with health authorities and agencies
• Implement compliance protocols for agency requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred
• Minimum two years clinical experience as an MOA
• Teaching experience and understanding student experiences
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Proficient in technology-based software
